On 1 November, Foley and Associates co-hosted a seminar on ‘Doing Business in the US’ with Industry and Investment New South Wales.

Approximately 35 companies specifically interested in the US market attended the invitation only event, which featured the following speakers:

• Angela Foley – Founding Director of Foley & Associates speaking on ‘Expanding into the US Market – Points to consider when opening an office, establishing manufacturing or entering a JV’
• Noah Klug – Lawyer, Fragomen speaking on ‘Navigating the US regulatory environment: market access, commercial law, and immigration in the US’
• Malcolm Bush – International Trade Consultant, Gloria Jean’s Coffees speaking on ‘Selling to the States – culture, spending power, & recent developments’
• David Howard, Austrade State Manager, New South Wales and ACT speaking on Insight and advice on business in the US
