Overview

Transport equipment manufacturer visits the region twice – appoints distributor and reports sales.

American manufacturer of rail gear and track & signal materials supplying innovative engineered products and services to the railroad industry requested our office to assist with inward visit programmes to Australia. They requested our assistance in:

  • Facilitating new commercial opportunities in Australia to achieve sales;
  • Forming business relationships in Australia; and later to
  • Cement current business relationships to ensure ongoing sales

Outcomes and Results

Our client visited the market twice. As a result of the first visit they reported sales in the two states they visited (New South Wales and Victoria) and appointed a distributor. In the return they visit they conducted meetings in Western Australia with their master distributor. They are now in the process of formalising a national sales network in partnership with their master distributor.
